Customer service at this Storage King USA location has been disappointing. The manager, Preston, was dismissive and unwilling to address concerns in a helpful way. I had been on autopay since starting my rental in March 2024. After my card was stolen, I updated the card on file and made a payment during that update. Unbeknownst to me, autopay was turned off during the process, and the following month my payment did not process, resulting in a late fee. When I contacted the facility, I was told autopay was not enabled. I explained the situation and requested a one-time late-fee reversal based on my payment history and the fact that the issue stemmed from updating my payment method. Preston stated they would not reverse the fee and repeatedly cited the policy rather than addressing my questions directly. During the conversation, he accidently indicated late fees can be reversed in some situations, but once realizing he had done so he just started quoting policy again like an automated message and said he would not reverse the fee. When I requested escalation, he stated he had no supervisor and that he was the final decision-maker. I’ve also experienced recurring facility issues mentioned in the other reviews (elevator, gate, and missing trolleys) with limited resolution. If there are cameras and access codes to get in, how can the facility not figure out who is stealing the trollies unless the cameras are actually not operational. Clearly no regard for the actual customers that rent with them and treats issues as if they are of little importance. This is obvious as you can see in the negative review responses back from the company that just say, "sorry for the inconvenience". Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend this location. If you are Preston's manager/supervisor/boss and reading this, please contact me.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Phoebe at the Kyle location. She is super helpful and provides wonderful customer service every time. Answers all questions professionally and with a smile!

Tried to rent online they processed my payment but wouldn’t let me sign lease due to error. Called to call center very unhelpful and unprofessional wouldn’t recommend using. Would give negative stars after interaction.
